Terms of Service for CanadaCareerHub

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to CanadaCareerHub ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website at https://canadacareerhub.com/ (the "Site") and our associated services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, job seekers, employers, and others who access the Site.

2. Description of Service

CanadaCareerHub is an online employment platform and job board that connects individuals seeking employment opportunities ("Job Seekers") with employers and recruiters seeking candidates ("Employers"). We act solely as a venue for the online distribution and publication of user-submitted information. We do not screen or censor the listings, nor are we involved in the actual transaction between employers and candidates.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Site, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password and login credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
  • Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Terms for Job Seekers

If you are a Job Seeker using our platform, you agree to the following:

  • You will only submit resumes, cover letters, and profile information that is accurate, truthful, and belongs to you.
  • You will not post incomplete, false, or inaccurate biographical information.
  • You understand that your public profile and uploaded documents may be viewed by registered Employers on the platform.
  • You acknowledge that CanadaCareerHub does not guarantee any job placement, interview, or employment outcome as a result of using the Site.

5. Terms for Employers

If you are an Employer or Recruiter using our platform, you agree to the following:

  • You will only post legitimate job openings for existing vacancies within your organization or an organization you are legally authorized to represent.
  • You will not post jobs that require the applicant to pay a fee, purchase a training program, or invest capital as a condition of employment.
  • You will treat all candidate data (including resumes and contact information) confidentially and use it solely for the purpose of filling the specific job posting.
  • You will adhere to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, and local employment and human rights laws, including non-discrimination and equal opportunity regulations.

6. Prohibited Conduct

All users of the Site agree NOT to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Post any content that is defamatory, offensive, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code that may damage or disrupt the Site or the data of other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, user accounts, or computer networks.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means (such as bots or spiders) to access, collect, or copy data from the Site without our express written permission.
  • Sell, share, or otherwise distribute candidate resumes or Employer data to third parties without authorization.

The Site and its original content (excluding user-provided data), features, functionality, logos, design, and graphics are the exclusive property of CanadaCareerHub and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or display any part of our Site without our prior written consent.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by CanadaCareerHub. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. CanadaCareerHub makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Site, the accuracy of job postings, the quality of candidates, or the reliability of any information obtained through the platform. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall CanadaCareerHub, its directors, employees, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Site; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Site; (c) any content obtained from the Site; and (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CanadaCareerHub and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Site, your violation of any term of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Site immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the province in which our primary business operations are located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Canada.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
